Greg LeCount (originally from Baltimore, Maryland), or Coach Trakk as he is fondly known, joins the Elk Grove Lady Herd basketball program as Varsity Head Coach for the 2012-13 season. Coach Trakk has lead several programs to championship titles in his over 20 years of coaching and has experience coaching AAU and numerous out-of-state high school teams.
Under his leadership, several of his basketball teams earned titles in championships and tournaments. In 2003 he led his Baltimore Cougars girls 12 and under team to state and national championship runner up. Other teams he has coached are Radford High School and Maryknoll in Hawaii, Dunbar HS in Maryland, and St. Andrews School in Saratoga, CA.
Coach Trakk has spent the last 7 years as an assistant at Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, a program full of tradition. In addition to his expertise in post development and defensive strategy, Coach Trakk headed up all Basketball Operations for the Owls and has been instrumental in the marketing, promotions and fundraising areas of the Foothill program.
Coach Trakk is the manager and director of his own Recreation Company located in Sacramento, which is also where he currently resides with his wife Lydia and their family.
