| Coaches Comments: The Lady Herd's starting point guard played Varsity ball last season as a Freshman and showed deft ability to handle and shoot the ball. Over the off-season, Jen developed ball skills and consistency in her shot. She drew the attention of opposing coaches, one of whom called her, "unguardable." Other coaches compared her to the Lady Herd's all-time leading scorer and point guard Amanda Fitzgerald. In fact, the two became friends over the summer and Amanda tutored Jennifer in point guard skills and intangibles. Jennifer has a great, soft shooting touch and has learned how to finish around the basket. Her ability to push the ball ahead to set-up her teammates for scores is also a vital part of her game. |
