Coaches Comments: "Kristin is returning for her third year as a starter on the Varsity team. Last season was a successful campaign for Kristin. She averaged over 10 points and 12 rebounds, tallied a double-double in 22 of 29 games, broke the school record for total rebounds in a season (357), won the Co-Most Valuable Player Award and was named to the All-Delta League first team. Kristin has spent a busy summer honing her skills and strength to make her senior year her best. She has improved her shooting range, foot quickness, and strength. Not only did she play 40 games for Elk Grove during the summer, she competed in tournaments with Sacramento and Modesto area AAU teams to get noticed by several college coaches. CSU - Northridge, Sonoma State, and Air Force Academy rate Kristin as their top recruit. Prior to the season, Kristin signed a National Letter of Intent to accept a full scholarship to CSU - Northridge. We look for Kristin to provide consistent inside scoring, dominate rebounding, and senior leadership for this season's team." |

Advice to Teammates: "To be the best, we need to work together to defeat the up-coming challenges. Don't just look into yourself for support, look to those around you for they will always be there to bring you up and support you, on and off the court. We're a family, a unit, and each player completes a special piece to our puzzle. And without even one of those pieces, our team won't be able to function." |

To Coaches: "Ride us. We know what we can be, we need you to guide us there. Over the past three years you've all helped mold the person I am today, on and off the court. And I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for the great memories and teaching me the mental and physical attributes to the game of basketball. I wish you all the luck in the upcoming years. And don't think you're getting rid of me, because 'I'll be back.'" |

to Family:
Through thick and thin you've supported me, even when I was a handful. I love you and appreciate everything you've done over the years to help me succeed, including my little brother. Without him giving me wise cracks, and pushing me, I may not be as competitive as I am today, and I love him for it.
Basketball is my life, but my family will forever be my first love, and I will never be able to repay them for all they've done. All I can do is make them proud of whe I've become. |
