Coaches Comments: Stephanie, a Division I All-American caliber soccer player, has signed an athletic scholarship with the University of Portland. She returns to the hardwood for her third Varsity season to the delight of the coaching staff and the team. Stephanie is unparalleled as a defensive player and playmaker. She is a two-time All-Delta league second team guard and last season was awarded the program's highest honor -- the Lady Herd Hustle Award. Stephanie is the ideal of a Lady Herd player. She is a player who is focused and determined; she lifts the team with her example and her encouragement. Her leadership will be a huge asset to our team as we welcome nine new players to the Varsity team. Stephanie will be the anchor to our defense and her superior passing will help propel our transition offense to high levels. |

Advice to Teammates: "Always remember it is just a game.
But take pride in how you play, always striving to be your best. And don't
just play the game, learn the game so you can beat your opponent. It is all
in your head. Sports are 10% physical and 90% mental." |

To Coach: "Thank you for understanding about my
focus in sports. Through your support you have showed me a lot about your
character and how you care about your players. You have taught me so much
about basketball and above all, I am glad that I can think of you not only
as a coach, but as a mentor and friend." |

to Parents: "My family is absolutely amazing. In
every stage of life that I have gone through, they have supported me and
pushed me to be my best. Without any thought of themselves, my parents have
given their time endlessly all for their daughter to succeed and have fun.
Without my family and most importantly, without God, I would not be where I
am now. Thank you." |
