Chris Woods joined the Lady herd program three years ago after moving to Californina from Texas to teach. A graduate of Texas Tech University with ties to its women's basketball coaches, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Elk Grove. While in Texas, he coached junior high and 18-under West Texas Lady Bulls AAU All-Star basketball teams to successful seasons.
Coach Woods assumed coaching duties for the Junior Varsity team last year following coach Jim Wilson's passing. Chris is an excellent teacher of fundamentals and defense. His up-beat nature and discipline have proven a tremenndous asset to the Lady Herd Basketball program.
